Episode 01 - A Tale of Tragedy To Triumph

Do you know the story behind RevitaLash® Cosmetics? “As a physician specializing in eye health, I developed our original lash conditioner in 2006 to help my wife, Gayle, feel more beautiful during her long and courageous fight against breast cancer,” Dr. B explains. 

“At the time, I had no plans to pioneer an entirely new category in the beauty industry. I simply wanted to give Gayle the gift of confidence – and restore the spring in her step. She taught me that for women, the way you look and how you feel are so deeply connected. I carry her message forward with each and every product we introduce.” 

Episode 02 - A Focus on Safety

Great results are important, but so is creating a safety-focused formula – especially one that’s used near the eye area. “I created the original eyelash serum for my wife, the love of my life, so safety had to come first – it was paramount to my process as a husband, and a physician,” Dr. B says. 

“Today, we still create our products with the same level of love, care and focus on safety. Our lash serums undergo extensive safety testing conducted by experienced laboratories and are also reviewed by independent experts, including dermatologists and ophthalmologists,” he continues.

Episode 03 - New Product Approach

If you’re a RevitaLash® Cosmetics fan, you might have noticed we don’t offer new products every month, like many other brands do. It’s for good reason, as Dr. B explains:   

“We don’t launch new products very often, because it takes years for us to create one that meets our safety and excellence standards. I want every one of our products to be developed with as much care as the one I created for the love of my life – my wife, Gayle.”  

“The process of developing the perfect formula, testing to meet our stringent safety standards, and incorporating feedback from real consumers takes time and effort. To us, it’s worth it – and we follow that same path, even today.” 

Episode 04 - The Application of Safety

Did you know our RevitaLash® Advanced lash serums have a special applicator brush? “Our applicator brush is truly unique, and there’s a reason we created it this way,” Dr. B says.  

“Its shape, and the number of bristles, were designed to only apply a very small amount of serum to the lashes.  This limits exposure to the skin and eyes and optimizes use of the product to enhance the appearance of eyelashes.”  

“The goal is to avoid any cosmetic product from getting in the eyes. But the good thing about our applicator is that it applies such a small amount of product, that if any were to accidentally get into fluid around the eye, it would be washed away cleanly by your tear ducts. This has been confirmed by our safety testing.” 

Episode 05 - The Science of The Swipe

Not all lash serums are the same, and one way ours differ is in the method of application. “Our RevitaLash® Advanced lash serums are designed to be applied to the eyelashes, not the skin. Applying them correctly means less exposure to skin and eyes, which helps to avoid the potential for irritation,” Dr. B says. 

“That said, human application is not perfect, and humans can have reactions to anything – from seasonal allergens like pollen to ingredients in common foods, and even the mildest of beauty products, including eyeliner and mascara – and every person is different,” he explains.  

“We understand this, which is why we offer a 90-day product promise. If the product is not for you, we’ll refund or replace it. That’s how much we believe in, and stand by, our formulas.

“In addition to doing extensive safety testing before we launch our products, we monitor consumer reports of their experience with our products after launch,” Dr. B says.

Over a one-year period, 0.11% of RevitaLash Advanced users reported the most common reaction as irritation, which typically went away after stopping use.* Brands should stand at the ready to openly share this kind of data with you.”
