A Beautiful Cause, and a New Goal

If you know the RevitaLash® Cosmetics story, you know that philanthropy is woven into our DNA. Our founder, Michael Brinkenhoff, M.D., famously created the original lash serum for his beloved wife, Gayle to help her feel more beautiful during her brave battle with breast cancer.

Today, we honor Gayle’s legacy with our Eternally Pink® pledge, which assures a portion of proceeds from every product sold gives back to breast cancer initiatives. We directly fund important research and support those affected by breast cancer – all thanks to you, our RLC community.

Last year, we reached an incredible milestone: $9 million in donations, investments, and in-kind contributions to breast cancer initiatives since 2008. Now, we’re aiming for our next major goal as we travel the Road to $10 Million. Together, we can reach this amazing goal this year – and continue to work toward a world without breast cancer.

ROAD TO $10 MILLION

We’ve made $9 million+ in donations, investments, and in-kind contributions to breast cancer initiatives since 2008. Together, we can reach the next milestone.

Road to 10M

Why Breast Cancer Awareness Matters

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States (except for skin cancers). In 2025, an estimated 300,000+ new cases will be diagnosed, and 42,000 women will die from breast cancer. One in eight U.S. women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.* The numbers are even larger worldwide. In 2022, 2.3 million women around the globe were diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer affects women (and men) in every country in the world.†

Breast cancer can have an impact on every part of a patient’s life, from her physical health, her relationships, and her work to her self-image. This is why we support both quality-of-life care for those affected by breast cancer, as well as research that brings us closer to a world without this devastating disease.

How We Give Back with Your Help

Reaching our next milestone will enable us to make an even bigger difference in the lives of people affected by breast cancer – not only here in the U.S., but around the globe. With the help of our RevitaLash® Cosmetics community, team, and global partners, we can accomplish more than we ever thought possible. We invite you to join us on our journey to making a positive difference in the fight against breast cancer – and our personal mission to find a cure.

If you’ve seen the pink ribbon on our packaging, you might know that we dedicate a portion of the proceeds from every RevitaLash® Cosmetics product sold to breast cancer initiatives. But what does that look like in practice?

Here’s a look at a few of the impactful projects we’ve funded so far in 2025:

Funding Research

With our partner Future Dreams, we’re funding a potentially groundbreaking study of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer at the world-renowned Francis Crick Institute in London.

The Breast TRACERx (TRAcking Cancer Evolution through Therapy (Rx)) project is a collaboration between world-renowned research institutes in the UK and France, including the Francis Crick Institute. Researchers are studying how Triple Negative Breast Cancer evolves, aiming to identify specific genetic changes that may lead to relapse and investigating mechanisms by which tumors may evade the body’s immune defenses to provide a comprehensive view of tumor evolution.

RevitaLash® Cosmetics was also a presenting sponsor of the 2025 Women’s Health Luncheon at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. The powerful event, featuring keynote speaker Arianna Huffington, raised funds for the hospital’s Connors Center for Women’s Health. We presented the Gayle Brinkenhoff IGNITE grant, named for our Co-Founder, to Sungwook Jung, PhD. The grant will help fund Dr. Jung’s cutting-edge research on improving drug delivery for metastatic breast cancer, with the goal of providing treatment options to patients whose breast cancer does not respond well to standard therapies.

Supporting Community

This year, we’ve supported impactful projects around the world together with our global partners. Here are the highlights:

Boston Marathon (April 21)
Our Vice President of Global Philanthropy, Dariel Sidney, ran the Boston Marathon as part of Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Stepping Strong Team, raising over $1.66M for women’s health and cancer research. She ran in honor of her mom, our Co-Founder Gayle Brinkenhoff.

Rise Up Gala, San Francisco (April 30) RevitaLash® Cosmetics joined our newest partner, Rise Up, at this event that raised over $300,000 for the organization whose mission includes advancing health equity for women and girls. Healthcare access is critical for lifesaving early detection.

WeSpark Poker Tournament, Los Angeles (March)

Dr. Brinkenhoff showed off his impressive poker skills at Seinfeld actor Jason Alexander’s celebrity tournament, a 100% charitable event supporting the WeSpark Cancer Support Center. RevitaLash® Cosmetics was proud to be an event sponsor.

Yes!Con, Berlin (May 9-10) Germany’s largest cancer convention featured RevitaLash® Cosmetics front and center. Dr. Brinkenhoff joined a high-level panel on the future of clinical trials, and patients were treated to makeovers and headshots—moments of beauty and empowerment.

Press Events in Switzerland, Thailand, Spain, The Netherlands, Ireland, and the UK (May-June) Together with our global partners, we introduced our Eternally Pink® mission to press and influencers in multiple countries. Each event included a donation to a local breast cancer charity, helping to further our shared impact worldwide.

WIN Summit, NYC (May 16) We were proud sponsors of this leadership summit for women. Our Beauty Bar and Headshot Booth became a hub of joy and transformation—helping women step into their next chapter with confidence.

ArtBra Austin, Texas (June 7) We were proud to support the Breast Cancer Resource Center’s ArtBra fundraiser. This event raised funds to provide non-medical support for breast cancer patients and their families.

Caring for Patients

We recently renewed our commitment to cancer patients in California with a two-year, $100,000 grant for the Cold Cap Program through Ridley-Tree Cancer Center and UCLA Medical Center in Santa Barbara. This initiative, in partnership with the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara, aims to provide vital support to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

Finally, in addition to sponsoring potentially groundbreaking research, our partnership with Future Dreams will directly benefit patients served by the Future Dreams House in London. Future Dreams House is the only dedicated breast cancer support center in the UK offering in person and online support.

We sponsored the Future Dreams Fashion Show on May 16, which raised more than £160,000 GBP to support vital breast cancer services. Our Founder & CEO Dr. Michael Brinkenhoff and our VP of Global Philanthropy Dariel Sidney opened the show with a heartfelt sharing of our founding story and our continued commitment to funding breast cancer research and services. Dr. Brinkenhoff joined 30 breast cancer survivors, patients, and spouses as he walked the catwalk in honor of his wife, RLC Co-Founder Gayle Brinkenhoff’s courageous fight.

Additionally, our partnership will support workshops and classes for breast cancer patients, as well as RevitaLash® Cosmetics products for Future Dreams House service users.
These are just a few of the impactful projects we’ve undertaken recently. There’s much more in the works for 2025!
