Medical
Athena Cosmetics offers three richly funded plans to cover employee and dependents, through Anthem Blue Cross; two PPOs and an HMO. These plans all range from gold to Platinum benefit tiers, allowing employees to choose the best plan to fit their needs, and their budget.
Dental
Athena Cosmetics offers a richly funded Dental PPO plan to employees with an unlimited maximum benefit. This plan covers preventative services such as routine exams, x-rays, and cleaning at no additional cost to the employee.
Vision
Athena Cosmetics offers a richly funded Vision plan for employees with an allowance for frames or contact lenses. Employees may take advantage of benefits once a calendar year.
Long Term Disability
We understand that disability insurance is pay check insurance. Athena Cosmetics offers fully funded Long Term Disability to our employees through New York Life to ensure that an employee’s financial needs will be taken care of if they are unable to work due to a disability.
Life and AD&D
Life and AD&D gives employees peace of mind that their families will be taken care of should anything happen to them. This is why Athena Cosmetics offers a fully funded Life and AD&D benefit of 1x the employee’s salary up to $300,000, through New York Life.
Additional benefits
Athena Cosmetics understand the importance of taking time off and as such provides paid vacation time.
Available to full-time employees, and part-time employees, who work more than thirty hours per work week on a regular basis, to provide them with periods of rest and relaxation away from their regular job duties. Part‑time employees accrue vacation on a pro‑rated basis based on the number of hours worked per week. Eligible employees earn paid vacation time immediately upon commencing employment but may not use vacation time until they have completed their introductory period.
We know peace of mind comes with having a bank of sick time to draw upon when you’re feeling under the weather.
At Athena Cosmetics, we know peace of mind comes with having a bank of sick time to draw upon when you’re feeling under the weather – and we encourage the downtime and rest needed for healing. As such, eligible employees are entitled to paid sick leave from the commencement of employment.
Giving back is at the heart of Athena Cosmetics, and we want to make it easy for our employees to live the benefits of serving others.
In this spirit, Athena Cosmetics offers our employees up to eight paid hours off per year to volunteer for any qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Self-care is an important part of achieving balance in our everyday life, and we understand how achieving balance helps keep our employees happy and healthy. This is why Athena cosmetics offers an additional eight hours each year to take a day to care for yourself. You can use this time off to do something for you – a spa day, a hike, yoga, a beach day – whatever it is that fills your vessel.

Athena Cosmetics will issue an SLRA payment following the end of each calendar quarter to the eligible employees that have requested to participate in the SLRA program.
We aim to support employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. In keeping with this philosophy, the Company has established a Tuition Assistance Program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning.
If you are a full-time, regular employee and have completed your probationary period, you are eligible for participation in
this program.
Athena Cosmetics offers Flexible Spending Accounts to allow you to set aside funds for the future.
Athena Cosmetics offers an F.S.A. through Lively Flexible Spending Accounts which are specified accounts where participants can set aside funds on a pre-tax basis each year for qualifying healthcare and/or dependent care expenses. Allowable contribution is up to the federal limit with a capped roll-over for FSA.
